WP 3: Meta-analysis and Bioinformatics

Participants:

University of Ioannina, deCode, KCL

Objectives:

1. To combine datasets from genome-wide association and other studies using advanced meta-analysis techniques in order to identify the genetic variants that are most important for determining the risk of osteoarthritis phenotypes.
2. To explore the consistency of the associations across different study populations and different phenotypes.
3. To provide bioinformatic support for the Consortium.
